Camargue

We're having a lazy day today, at St Gilles, on the edge of the Camargue. Yesterday we left the trailer and all the luggage at the campsite and cycled 65 miles around the Camargue National Park. We saw flocks of pink flamingoes and got a close-up view of an otter swimming around in the ditch. Weather is fabulous - a bit too hot in fact. Photos to follow.

Hello Kitty and Garry intrepid ffonic travellers. Great to hear (and see) all about your ffantastic journey. Makes me greener than green with envy. Please can I come too next time?! There's been some sun here but now we're into what we hope is a short spell of colder grey rainy days. We're managing to keep ffonic affloat but that's not to say that we don't miss you. We've moved back to the legion but it's not smokey now!! Looking forward to Kinnersley in a couple of weeks. Will miss you there too Kitty, but will have a dance or two specially for you. Hope you find some dancing on your travels. Don't forget John Leoplod's festival towards end of August. IN FRANCE if you happen to be in the vicinity!! Loads of love Esta xx
